The beauty of scars

Story of decay reflects the beauty of time, slow fleeting "NOW" transforms into "THEN" - sewing several stories together, reflecting a concrete manifestation called life. Scars gift us, the much needed identity, the uniqueness that separates us apart in this monolith called humanity . Life's vulnerabilities, mistakes and corrective action, process of learning and unlearning is mapped into scars. Observe deeply and we find the scars narrate stories of perseverance amidst the trauma of loss, pain and suffering. A binding light of hope glues these broken pieces together with striking similarity to the Japanese art of Kintsugi. Rebuilt pieces are always more valuable than their virgin past. There is something in the process of breaking and healing that ensues magic. Its akin to the forces of nature lifting us from the abyss to heal and remind that we are nature's special children. Special, because we have been to the depths of despair,  the darkness of existenti
